Hi,

you cannot access render meshes from within RhinoScript. There are the ObjectMesh* and RenderMesh* methods that let you change render mesh settings, but you cannot get the mesh as a geometrical entity.

For exploding polysurfaces into surfaces, have a look at ExplodePolysurfaces.
